Eiger Guest House - Grindelwald

Loved the gorgeous views from the balcony😍! The location was perfect-so close to the train station and hiking trails. But, the washing machine situation was a bit frustrating. Hope they add more soon!

Having a dining area, a seating area, and a writing table in our beautiful and amazing room. Feather pillows, extremely comfy bed. Unbeatable location with private parking if needed and very close to super market, the first gondola and train station and First gondola. Also, to supermarket & restaurants...

We appreciated perfect location of this place.

The room we booked was good sized and huge with slippers, a wonderful view, nice kitchen❤

The generous space in the apartment and the amazing mountain views made our stay nice.

Despite having daily cleaning included, our apartment was never attended to , quite disappointing.

the hotel offers particularly good location close to grindelwald downtown. there's the train station close to the property.

The views were fine, but the shower kept running out of hot water.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent w/ free parking and a wide variety of room types.

We really enjoyed the mountain view from the private garden next to our room on the ground floor in the guest house. The hotel location is optimum as it is easy to go anywhere (station to First, train station, shops/restaurants, super markets, indoor swiming pool, putting golf etc). Staffs are kind and supportive.

The hotel restaurant was too crowded (means good one), therefore we often had to wait for seats & ordering.

Why I'm torn on this

The staff was kind, helping ensure a nice stay! The location was ideal, just 5 minutes from the train station.

Sadly, the bathroom drainage issues were bothersome. I found the room a bit outdated .

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by several disappointments. The shower consistently ran out of hot water, frustrating. The furnishings in our Three-Bedroom Apartment felt outdated, and the overall ambiance was not what I expected from a place in Switzerland. Lastly, check-in was quite confusing, and several staff members were unable to provide clear answers to our questions, leaving us feeling unsupported .

Excellent restaurants and super friendly staff. Very clean hotel and excellent central town location for all connections to the ski areas

Our apartment room was dated, although very clean. Functional but not luxury

Hotel's room was extremely spacious with an awesome view of the mountain. The beds were very comfy, everything was lovely. Location: the venue was so close to the First cable car station, and First mountain. The staff was very courteous and exceptionally pleasant every time I needed help.
